When something or someone is closed off from the view of another, their access is limited. But if a hole appears, either a open door, a pushing through, a giving way of a barrier, a deterioration of a hedge, then access is granted. The Lord has been on the outside looking in for an unspecified amount of time. He is seeing if possibly He can gain access into the lives of men, some even of His own children. You say, how can He not have access to those His own children. Ohhhh, if the hearts valves are closed off, and if the eyes are closed, and the ears are stopped, then the entry way that once granted the life giving flow of protection, wholeness, strength, and peace, is obstructed and blocked up and other influences come through. The Lord is knocking one again. Desiring to do men good. He’s knocking, not only to those who haven’t received him, but to His own church, pleading with men not to believe the bad press about him, but to actively engage in discussions with Him through His word. Revelation 3:20
