There was no change in their circumstances. They just saw Jesus afar off, and ask for mercy. Jesus spoke to them saying, ” go show yourselves to the Priest and follow the tradition of offering the proper sacrifice to God for you recovery. They had a choice. Right there they could have allowed their reasoning to take over and become confused. You know, natural reasoning is good in certain situations, however it is set aside from time to time in order to receive a miracle or even healing from God in Heaven. These fellows didn’t consider the natural. They just headed in the direction of the Son of God’s Words. ( That’s a word for a few). Once something registers on your heart from God, bypass your mind and act upon it. Typically you wouldn’t see anyone with such alarming symptoms like this getting close to anyone, yet the Word the Lord became a bridge over troubled waters. Develop your trust in the Words of our Lord by total immersion in it. You can recover. Sure you can.
Luke 17:11-19
11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. 17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where arethe nine? 18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. 19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
