As we mature in the things of God, we grow in the ability to take charge over the very atmosphere around us. The scripture says in Psalm 16:11: 11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. It also says: Psalm 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend the These are scriptures in the Old Testament. Jesus said: John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world
He also said: John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. When we mature in the Lord, the very atmosphere of heaven can fill our home, can fill our car, can fill our businesses, can fill our ministry, can fill our lives. This type of maturity draws men in, increasing the Kingdom of God by the very atmosphere, that we choose to operate in here.
The woman with the alabaster box took time to minister to the Lord. We can’t stop ministering to the Lord in turbulent times. They were getting ready to crucify Jesus, and life appeared to be soo uncertain as the days progressed. Now think about his ministry as things are transpiring today. He did what he did so that we could come through our trials and live. For through the years, he has been our help, our comfort, our strength, our wisdom, our joy, our peace, our preservation. Let’s not turn and become callous, through tribulations, but earnestly look at what he has done. Let’s minister to the Lord.
Mark 14:3-9 3 And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head. 4 And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made? 5 For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her. 6 And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me. 7 For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always. 8 She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying. 9 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.
God is a Love God, and he requires trust, or “Faith.” That’s what Faith is. When you were a baby, naturally your parents took care of you because you were helpless without your parents. A new born baby Christian is like this, provided there is proper nurturing of the more mature around them. But that baby Christian has an advantage if it cleaves to God in its infancy stage, for God can get that baby Christian to the right places if it will cleave to the God of love. The same God that saved can keep if he is trusted. Now, as a natural child grows and develops the trust for his parents, “talking about everything being equal,” the child trusts that parent because the parent has always taken care of him, or her. There is a solid trust and because of this there is a solid love. So when we talk about love and trusting God, if that baby Christian doesn’t cleave to God as a natural child does it natural parents, trust will break up.
Our Father God has said that there was an enemy out to stop us, and if we would keep close to Him in fellowship, and obedience to His word, then nothing could harm us. Our Faith or trust would be as the natural child’s toward his or her parents. Nothing in between, nothing to injure, because we stay in His arms through his word and fellowship. But there is GREAT MERCY. If we have experienced great loss and tragic events, God is reaching out to us and showing us the way back into a secure place. Many years ago, I learned this lesson. God said to me, I will help you, I will build you back up, I will strengthen your mind, I will keep you. I will be with you in trouble, deliver and honor you. Once I was able to relax and trust him again, He has never ceased to fulfill those words in my life. God my Father is Gracious. He want to be gracious to you.
Dwelling in the secret place is a full commitment to diligence, let’s start again, let’s begin.
Psalms 91:1
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty
Would God ask us to do something he was unwilling to do himself? Think about this, Peter asked Jesus, “how many times shall my brother sin and I forgive him till seven times? Jesus answer was starting and astounding. Jesus reply was till 70 times 7 in a day Matthew 18:22, but wait a minute, you have to look at that in both directions. That means if you miss the mark and sin, how many times will God the father forgive you? Would he require something that he himself was unwilling to do? The answer is no. Take this to heart and go free. Don’t let the devil lie to you and say God will not forgive you anymore. Most of the time we’re in a growth process. No, go ahead and serve the Lord without that condemnation. ( there is another group of people that could care less, we are not talking about those who would play roulette with God.) You can jump forward, and get well and succeed if you never let this truth depart. What he did in the Old Testament, he does more through Jesus our Lord.
Psalms 103: 1-6
1 (A Psalm of David.) Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. 6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
1 John 1: 9 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
It’s so important to walk in the light while light is here. The word of God fills all things with light, that we stumble not in this life. The light shines into the darkest regions of the soul, keeping it pure, and wholesome, keeping it ready and prepared for the return of the Lord. There’s a thrilling excitement that’s stirring up. There shall be a great catching away for the saints will take flight, leaving the darkness of the night. Ohh boy! What a glorious day that is drawing near. So walk in the light while the light is still in here, then you will be caught away, and have everlasting joy beholding the Savior face to face.
1 Thess. 4:16
6 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
After God had wrought a great deliverance among the children of Israel, God attempted to lead them hand to mouth. Thy rejoiced at the onset but when their thoughts gravitate downward they began to buck and rebel. They lost their focus in that God was really God and began to imagine maybe all of this is just a bad idea. Ohh God took them from the captivity and bondage of men, but without complete subjection to God they wound up bound up and a slave to their disobedience that cost them everything. In dangerous circumstances, God delivers, but it’s in our continued subjection in all things to him that we remain a blessed people. Remain in that place that when you petition him on the behalf of others and for your own nations, he rushes to the aid. Can you hear it? God wants to lead us once again hand to mouth.
Deuteronomy 32:11-20 11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: 12 So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him. 13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock; 14 Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape. 15 But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. 16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger. 17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. 18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. 19 And when the Lord saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his sons, and of his daughters. 20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.
In the highways, across the seas, through the thoroughfares, In hamlets and cottages, in high places, seeking. Seeking for those who have arrayed themselves with garments of meekness and humbleness of heart, that we may bestow upon them the inheritance promised their fathers and show great mercy to their seed in their generation.
Psalms 37:11
“But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace
Matthew 5:5 5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth ◄ 2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.
Tribunal-A court of justice. Standing before a tribunal of the land could be a great thing if they are operating under God’s Hand. That’s a safe place, a place of proper recompense, a place where that which was stolen can be replaced. That’s a place where the people rejoice, for therein lies quietness and assurances forever. What a wonderful place that could be. If you are in the family of God, learn about God’s Tribunal. It supersedes all else when your versed in it.
Psalm 19:7-14
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. 8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Ohhhh, the peace, the unashamed heart. The confidence, the free following fellowship, that simply turns to hear what the Father says. Nothing hindering, no hesitation, a continuous communion, with the God of Power and Might. This is the testimony of those who chose a life outside of strife.
1 John3:18-22
A Life 18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. 19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. 22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
