No wonder the Apostle Paul said to present your body as a living sacrifice, (Rom. 12:1a) Fasting is part of the discipline of being a disciple of Jesus Christ. So when&nbsp;&nbsp;you study and pray, incorporate fasting at periodic, but routine times so that you can easily silence the voice of your flesh, and allow your spirit, that\u2019s connected with God\u2019s Spirit to dominate your thinking and your actions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isaiah 58:11<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/biblehub.com\/isaiah\/58-11.htm\">11<\/a> The LORD will always guide you; He will satisfy you in a sun-scorched landand strengthen your frame.
